LyoLog

Delete your LyoLog account

Version 1.0 · In force from 26 September 2026 Published at lyolog.app/delete-account

LyoLog is an app by Freeze-drying.tech (Jan Panek).

You can delete your account and the data that goes with it at any time. You don’t have to give a reason.

From inside the app

More → Account → My Data → Delete my account. We’ll ask you to confirm. This is the fastest route: in most cases deletion runs immediately.

If you’ve already uninstalled the app

Email support@lyolog.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject line “Delete account”.

If you can’t email from that address, tell us — we’ll ask for something that lets us confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.

We reply within 30 days at the latest.

Cancel your subscription first

If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it before you delete the account.

  • Bought on Google Play → Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → LyoLog → Cancel.
  • Bought on the App Store → Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LyoLog → Cancel.

Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription and you would keep being charged. If you can’t cancel it, email support@lyolog.app and we’ll help.

Export your data first, if you want it

You can export your batches, calculations and photographs from inside the app before deleting the account. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover anything afterwards.

What we delete

  • your email address, name and preferences;
  • your machines, batches, weights, stages, recipes, costs and quality scores;
  • your photographs of product, trays and machines;
  • your session data;
  • your membership of any organisation.

Encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, well inside 90 days. If you have an active subscription, we also request deletion from the provider that manages paid access entitlements.

What we keep, and why

We’re required to keep some of it. This is all that remains, and we leave it unable to be linked back to you:

What How long Why
A record that the account was deleted, containing only a cryptographic hash of the identifier — not your email, not your identifier in the clear 5 years Evidence that erasure was carried out (Art. 5(2) GDPR)
The record that you accepted the legal documents: version, date and language, detached from your identity 5 years Evidence of consent (Arts. 5(2) and 7(1) GDPR) and defence of claims
The record of a redeemed promotional code, with the person field emptied While the code remains valid Counting redemptions, without keeping who made them
Invoices and accounting records, if you bought from us directly 6 years Art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code and tax law
Support emails, if you wrote to us 3 years from closure Legitimate interest in defending claims

The record of your purchase on Google Play or the App Store is held by the store, not by us. For that you need to go to Google or Apple.

Two cases where deletion needs one more step

  1. You own an organisation that still has members. The app will ask you to transfer it to another member or dissolve it. You can do that there and then; deletion continues normally afterwards.
  2. Your account is recorded as the author of shared service content — categories or templates shared with other users, for example. We reassign it manually.

In neither case is your request lost: we complete it within the 30-day period and confirm when it is done. If anything gets stuck, email support@lyolog.app.

Your rights

You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, by writing to support@lyolog.app. If you’re not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
